Our medical team has extensive experience in treating acne scarring. Advancements in lasers and other corrective technology allow us to take a multi-faceted, aggressive approach to restoring natural health and beauty to your skin.

Pulsed Dye Laser

This laser uses a concentrated beam of light that targets red, pink, purple, or other dark areas left behind by acne as well as birthmarks and other skin discolorations.

Laser Toning

A painless procedure that effectively treats wrinkles, Melasma, and other surface imperfections, laser toning is safe for all skin types. It provides immediate rejuvenation while also promoting collagen production to continue improving the skin over time.

CROSS

Short for Chemical Reconstruction Of Skin Scars, CROSS utilizes trichloroacetic acid in high concentrations to significantly reduce the appearance of deep acne scarring. When applied strategically, this innovative approach has been shown to visibly improve scarring by 70% or more during clinical studies.

Subcision

Subcision, or subcutaneous incision-less surgery, is a minor surgical procedure that treats depressed cutaneous scars and wrinkles. This procedure utilizes a special hypodermic needle that breaks skin fibers that tether scars to underlying tissue. Once the fibers are released, new collagen is deposited through wound healing that leads to cosmetic improvement of the scar.

Fractional Ablative Resurfacing

During this highly effective treatment, an intense beam of light is directed at scarred areas and broken up into fractionated columns that safely penetrate and treat the skin while leaving surrounding healthy skin unharmed. The outer layer of the skin is destroyed, prompting the growth of fresh, new surface skin.

Fractional Non Ablative Laser

This laser technology treats mild to moderate skin damage with little recovery time or side effects, but more treatment sessions may be required than with other laser treatments depending on the severity of the acne scarring.

Erbium YAG Laser Resurfacing

The Erbium YAG laser treats the deepest layers of skin for severe acne scarring and is more extensive than other lasers, but it is also capable of treating darker skin tones and is gaining notoriety for its ability to reduce serious acne scarring.

Filler Injection

For individuals who do not want the side effects of laser treatments, dermal fillers can also be injected directly underneath deep scars to plump and lift the skin. This solution is only temporary, but with regular treatment, scars are visibly reduced.

Punch Grafting

This innovative technique utilizes a special tool for punching holes into the skin, removing scars, and replacing them with grafts of new, undamaged skin. The grafts are taped into place to promote healing, and any scarring that results from this procedure is typically lighter and less visible than the original acne scarring.

During your consultation with our medical team, several factors will be considered and an appropriate treatment plan will be created for you based on your skin type and condition.
