BOTOX for Non-Surgical Wrinkle Reduction

Individuals who have used different lift procedures have been able to enjoy fantastic results. While many have received great results using these lift procedures, not everyone is necessarily ready to or wants to use a surgical procedure in order to get rid of wrinkles on their face and deal with the other telltale signs of aging. If you are looking for a non-surgical treatment that is designed to help you get rid of wrinkles, BOTOX® may be right for you.

One thing that you need to know about BOTOX® is that it is designed to deal with dynamic wrinkles. How do you know what kind of wrinkles you have? You can do a small test. Look at yourself in the mirror. When your face is not making any expressions, do you see wrinkles? If so, you may have static wrinkles. These wrinkles are not treated using BOTOX®. However, if you see that your wrinkles are a result of making facial expressions, BOTOX® may be right for you.

One of the areas that BOTOX® is used to treat is the area right at the corners of the outer eyes. This is where people usually see what are commonly referred to as crow’s feet. They are lines that appear on the face because of squinting, smiling, and making other expressions. In your younger years, you probably had a few lines that would form when you would make those expressions. Now that you are older, you have permanent lines in your face because of making those expressions over and over again.

BOTOX® can be injected into the muscles that are responsible for creating crow’s feet. The muscles will be relaxed, which means that the skin that is lying on top of them will be relaxed as well. So, you can say goodbye to your crow’s feet.

Other areas of the face can be treated with BOTOX® as well. For example, it can be injected into muscles in the forehead in order to help get rid of creases and lines that have formed in this part of your face. Not only do lines that are located in the forehead make you look older, but they also cause you to have an upset or angry expression on your face at all times. BOTOX® will relax those muscles, which will leave your face looking smooth and refreshed.

While you may be able to enjoy results using lift and surgical procedures to get rid of wrinkles, if you are not at that point yet or you are not interested in surgery, BOTOX® may be the best option for you.
